With eight nominations, Canada’s Spin Master leads the Toy Industry Association’s annual awards competition, but Lego and Hasbro are in hot pursuit with six nominations each. Frozen’s Elsa, meanwhile, will be duking it out with the likes of  TMNT, Minecraft and Paw Patrol for Property of the Year.

According to industry org TIA, more than 600 nominees were submitted for consideration in 12 categories for the 2015 edition of the Toy of the Year Awards. Members of the public are now invited to cast their votes on the TIA site. The 12 TOTY winners, along with the People’s Choice winners, will be announced at the TOTY Awards ceremony taking place on Friday, February 13 in New York to kick off the 112th edition of New York Toy Fair.
