Media I.M. sells Russian series into Thailand

The emerging content distribution company has licensed six of its kids properties to JKN Global Media, including Kikoriki and Robodz (pictured) for broadcast on Bright TV and JKN Global in Thailand, Laos and Myanmar.

London-based emerging content distribution company Media I.M. has licensed six of its kids properties to JKN Global Media, including Kikoriki and Robodz (pictured) to be broadcast on Bright TV and JKN Global in Thailand, Laos and Myanmar.

JKN has picked up all three seasons of Russian series Kikoriki (104 x 6.5 minutes) and animated sci-fi series Pin-Code (51 x 13 minutes).

Other titles headed for Bright TV and JKN Global include The Pooches (130 x 4.5 minutes), preschool TV and YouTube hit Moonzy (440 x 4.5 minutes), animated series The Bubbles (52 x 6.5 minutes) and animated comedy Robodz (15 x 11 minutes).

Launched in April 2014 by former Viacom International Media Networks execs Maria Ufland and Irina Nazarenko, Media I.M. specializes in the sales of family entertainment and animation to both linear and non-linear platforms.

With more than 900 eps of children’s animation in its portfolio, the company has exclusive distribution agreements with several of Russia’s leading animation producers, including Petersburg Animation Studio, Melnitsa Animation Studio, Studio Atria and Studio Nebo.
