New Australian SVOD service secures slate of kids titles

Presto TV, the new SVOD service launched by Foxtel and Seven West Media in Australia, has licensed a raft of kids titles, including Nickelodeon preschool series Bubble Guppies (pictured).

Geared to kids of all ages, the series will be available on Presto TV at launch. Like Netflix, the new service offers unlimited ad-free streaming for a monthly subscription fee.

Kids shows available at launch will include Nickelodeon series like Dora the ExplorerGo, Diego, Go!, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and SpongeBob SquarePantsPresto has also picked up My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and Transformers Prime from Hasbro Studios. Saban and DHX Media series will also join the launch roster.

Presto TV is expected to confirm its launch date shortly, with additional announcements on its content lineup following in the coming weeks.
