Paris-based distributor PGS Entertainment has secured a deal with Latin American digital platform DLA for a number of its animated series.

In total, the SVOD platform has licensed five animated series for kids and families, including TAT Productions/Master Films’ The Jungle Bunch to the Rescue! (104 x 11 minutes), Method Animation’s Chaplin & Co (104 x six minutes or 26 x 26 minutes), Iron Man: Armored Adventures (52 x half hours) from Method/DQ/Marvel, and Studio Hari’s Leon and Gees (both 52 x three minutes).

The deal continues the worldwide trek of The Jungle Bunch to the Rescue! with the series’ recent sale to Boomerang in Europe and Asia.

DLA is headquartered in Miami, Florida, with local offices in Argentina, Colombia, Brazil and Mexico. The company was purchased by global telco heavyweight, American Movil in 2011, the same year Netflix entered the Latin American market.
