As it continues to build its slate of TV content, Vancouver, Canada-based Rainmaker Entertainment has upped Kylie Ellis to the newly created position of VP of production for the studio’s TV division, Mainframe Entertainment.

In her new remit, Ellis will oversee the studio’s original TV content and service work. She reports to Rainmaker’s SVP of production and operations Kim Dent Wilder.

Having served as executive in charge of production for the studio’s first feature film Escape From Planet Earth, Ellis currently oversees the 104 x 10-minute episodes of the new CG-animated Bob the Builder series for HIT Entertainment, along with the development of Rainmaker’s original content projects, including the reboot of Mainframe’s animated series ReBoot.

Prior to serving as director of production at Rainmaker, Ellis worked in production on a variety of projects, including Ed, Edd and Eddy (Cartoon Network), Zeke’s Pad (YTV Canada and Channel 7 Australia), and Edgar & Ellen (Bardel Entertainment).
