Australia’s Network Ten has commissioned a second season of Galaxy Pop’s geeky adventure toon Get Ace for its kid-focused digi-channel Eleven.
Production on 52 new eps will begin in June.
Since making its television debut in early 2014, the animated program from Galaxy Pop founders Gian Christian and Dina McPherson has become one of Network Ten’s top-rated programs.
Distributed by Toronto’s 9 Story Media Group, season one was recently picked up by TVE (Spain), Zoom (Israel), E-Junior (UAE) and TVNZ (New Zealand), and the series premiered on Australia’s ABC3 in late 2014.
Get Ace follows the adventures of nerdy high school freshman Ace McDougal, who after being accidentally fitted with super hi-tech braces, finds himself thrust into a world of espionage.
