Paris-based brand management company PGS Entertainment has now secured 100% of available free-TV carriage in Europe for new CGI series Robin Hood: Mischief in Sherwood.
Co-produced by Method Animation, DQ Entertainment and Fabrique d’Images, the latest broadcast deals for the 52 x 11-minute series adds CSC Pop (UK and Ireland) and MTVA (Hungary) to a stacked European roster.
Previously announced European broadcasters include Clan TV (Spain), OufTivi/RTBF (French Belgium), VRT (Flemish Belgium), RTL TéléKids (Netherlands), BBC Alba (Scotland), RTS (French Switzerland), MTV3 (Finland), NRK (Norway), SVT (Sweden), LRT (Lithuania) and Pixel Channel (Ukraine).
Commissioned by TF1 and Disney Channel (France), DeAKids (Italy) and ZDF (Germany), the series targeting six to 10s follows the adventures of the energetic, courageous and humorous 10-year-old Robin of Locksley and his band of friends.
Outside of Europe, the show created by Romain Van Liemt and Alexandre de la Patelliere has also been picked up by Télé-Québec (Canada) and Gloob (Brazil).
DQ Entertainment and Method Animation have worked together on a number of series, including Ironman, Little Prince, Little Nick, Skyland and Peter Pan, as well as the 2011 3D feature film The Prodigies.
