Turner Broadcasting is unleashing a tidal wave of high-octane animated content for kids and superhero fans across India with the arrival of Toonami.

Featuring franchises such as Batman, Superman, Transformers: Robots in Disguise, Justice League, Inazuma Eleven Go and Dragon Ball Z, the launch of the kids channel in India strengthens its growing presence in the Asia Pacific region. It is currently in 14 countries, including Singapore, Philippines, Hong Kong, Indonesia and Sri Lanka. And in January, Toonami launched in Thailand in more than 11 million homes.

In India, the 24-hour English anime channel will complement Turner’s kids’ entertainment portfolio, which includes Cartoon Network and POGO.

Taj Television is distributing Toonami in India and it is currently available on the country’s leading digital cable platforms: Siticable (Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Madhya Pradesh), Indusind Media (Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata), ICNCL (Kolkata), Home Cable (Mumbai) and JPR Cable Network (Mumbai). More platforms are expected to follow shortly.
