Former Motion Pictures exec Xavi Mas has come aboard at Paris, France-based distributor PGS Entertainment as its new SVP of global sales.

In his new remit, Mas will look to expand the company’s development in Central Europe, Latin America and Asia. He will be based out of PGS’s new office in Barcelona, Spain and its Hong Kong office, with regular visits to Latin America.

Prior to PGS, Mas served as international sales and co-productions manager at Spanish producer and distributor Motion Pictures, a post he held for just over 10 years.

PGS Entertainment’s catalog of shows includes Robin Hood: Mischief in Sherwood, new Playmobil-inspired series Super 4 and Alvinnn!!! And the Chipmunks.

Most recently, Super 4 was picked up by American SVOD giant Netflix, which will air the series in the US this spring.
