Oxford, England indie producer Novel Entertainment and Fashions UK are partnering on a range of branded apparel for the Horrid Henry franchise, based on the bestselling children’s books created by Francesca Simon and illustrated by Tony Ross.

A new collection of t-shirts, pajamas, sweatshirts and socks featuring characters from the hit children’s entertainment property will be available atĀ UK retailers in April.

Other key licensing partners already on-board for the brand include Abbey Home Media (DVDs), Paul Lamond (puzzles), Rubies (costumes) and H. Grossman (toys, outdoor vehicles, camping equipment).

The fourth series of Horrid Henry (52 x 11 minutes) currently airs on British kidsnetĀ CiTV. A three-time BAFTA nominee, the series is now broadcast in 45 countries, and in 2011 Novel Entertainment co-produced live-action feature film Horrid Henry: The Movie, which was the first-ever British kids’ move filmed in stereoscopic 3D.

Last July, Netflix also nabbed UK and Ireland rights to the first three seasons of the series.
