Beloved Muppets Kermit the Frog, Fozzie Bear, Animal and Miss Piggy have a brand-new Disney Junior short-form series called Muppet Moments that is set to premiere on Friday, April 3 on Disney Channel.
Disney Channel will debut four shorts at 8:25 a.m., 8:55 a.m., 9:25 a.m. and 9:55 a.m. ET/PT, and a new short will broadcast daily through Friday, May 8, before more shorts rollout through 2015.
New shorts will also be accessible on mobile devices via the WATCH Disney Junior app.
The series, which is a Muppets Studio production in association with Disney Junior, features amusing and intimate moments between Muppets and kids as they discuss topics ranging from “apologies” to “favorite foods” and “manners.”
Other popular Muppets including The Great Gonzo, Beaker, Dr. Bunsen Honeydew, Rowlf and Pepe the King Prawn will also make appearances.
Alex Rockwell of Jim Henson Productions is on-board to produce with Bill Barretta serving as director.
Created by the late Jim Henson, The Muppets have been entertainiong kids and families for 60 years and have starred in eight feature films and multiple award-winning television series, specials and online videos.
