Corus Entertainment’s Nelvana Enterprises has been appointed the licensing agent for Saban Brands’ Power Rangers in France.

To kick off the partnership, Nelvana has inked two new licensees in France for the boys action property. Sun City (t-shirts, sleepwear) and Viquel (back-to-school, stationery) join master toy licensee Bandai and numerous other Power Rangers licensees worldwide.

Power Rangers is one of the longest running kids live-action series on TV, and a bundle of new content is in the pipeline to further propel the property.

A new season of the classic Power Rangers series, Power Rangers Dino Charge, which premiered in the US on Nickelodeon in February, makes its debut on French diginet Gulli this fall. And next summer, Saban Brands and Lionsgate are releasing a live-action feature film based on the property’s original iteration, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.
