L.A-based Pidgeon Entertainment has teamed up with app/videogame developer BulkyPix to roll out a new mobile game based on the classic British IP Worzel Gummidge.

Available for tablets and smartphones via iOS and Android platforms, Worzel Gummidge is an endless runner game that follows the irreverent scarecrow of Scatterbrook Farm as he confronts angry crows and collects coins.

Produced by Pidgeon Entertainment’s Patrick Pidgeon and BulkyPix, the game is based on the Worzel Gummidge children’s book series, first published 80 years ago.

The British property  has seen numerous novels, annuals, albums and merchandise, and was nominated for five BAFTA awards as a live-action TV series during its broadcast run in the 1980s.  A new animated series is currently in development for the property.
