German pay-TV broadcaster Sky Deutschland and Munich-based producer/distributor Studio 100 Media have inked a deal to extend their multi-platform partnership.

The re-up ensures the return of Vic the Viking (pictured), Maya the Bee, My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and Bibi Blocksberg to Sky Deutchland’s Junior Channel, as well as locking up movies and series based on children’s author Astrid Lindgren’s books for Sky’s linear offerings.

Deal terms for non-linear rights have also been expanded, meaning that a larger selection of Studio 100 shows, including Vic the Viking, Maya the Bee and Woodlies, will soon be available through Sky’s on-demand services Sky Go and Sky Anytime, and on Snap by Sky in Germany and Austria.
