London-based Hoho Rights, the commercial arm of prodco Hoho Entertainment, has sealed several international distribution deals for three of its key series—Cloudbabies, Everybody Loves a Moose and Abadas.
New broadcasters on-board for preschool series Cloudbabies (pictured) are TVB Pearl (Hong Kong) and Mediacorp (Singapore).
The 52 x 10-minute series, which debuted on CBeebies in May 2012, is also headed to BBC Worldwide’s CBeebies channel in Africa. And DVD company Panorama has snagged Hong Kong home entertainment and SVOD rights for the show about four childlike characters that look after the sky and their sky friends.
BBC Worldwide also snapped up the 52 x 11-minute mixed-media preschool series Abadas, which introduces young kids to the wonder of language via an animated pop-up book, for its African CBeebies channel.
Meanwhile in Brazil, Hoho Rights has sold Everybody Loves a Moose to Globosat’s kids channel Gloob. Targeting boys six to 11, the 52 x seven-minute slapstick animated series follows the adventures of Jack and his impulsive friend Moose.
