Indonesian toon Flip Flap, produced by Mikauru for MNCTV, has been licensed by Finnish broadcaster Sanoma/Nelonen Media. And in a deal with Urania, DVD’s will be distributed to Czech Republic and Slovakia.
For new video streaming business, Polish VOD company Galapagos has acquired Pikklui, Hullabalooba (Studio Outo) and Outopus. PakaPaka, the first children’s television channel operated by Argentina’s Ministry of Education, has also taken comedy series Outopus.
The latest deals from Monster follow its recent raft of sales for Jungle Beat from South Africa’s Sunrise Productions. Monster added Luchien, Hullabalooba and Flip Flap to its content portfolio in September 2014.
