iflix adds 12 kids titles to portfolio

Southeast Asian start-up SVOD service iflix has picked up 12 kids series from UK-based global distributor Jetpack Distribution.

Currently broadcasting across Malaysia and the Philippines, Southeast Asian start-up SVOD service iflix has picked up 12 kids series from UK-based global distributor Jetpack Distribution.

The deal adds 187 hours of programming to iflix’s kids portfolio across a range of titles, including preschool puppetry series The Moe Show (52 x 11 minutes) (pictured), Emmy-nominated docudrama Heart & Soul (26 x half hours) and 2D toon Jamie’s Got tentacles (104 x 11 minutes).

iflix, recently launched by Malaysian-based Cathca Group, also acquired rights to more than 400 hours of content from DHX Media in February, including series such as Animal MechanicalsJohnny TestSonic the HedgehogKid vs KatSuper Why! and Teletubbies.
