Following Disney’s record-setting third quarter, Disney Television Animation has made several key executive appointments including promoting Eric Coleman (pictured) to SVP of original programming and GM.

In addition, Jonathan Schneider has been upped to VP of strategy from his most recent position as executive director of development, and Shane Prigmore is now VP of creative affairs after serving as co-executive producer and creative director on the studio’s upcoming Tangled TV series.

Two new faces will also join the Mouse House. Former DreamWorks Animation feature film production executive Bonnie Lemon has been appointed as Disney TVA’s VP of production, and new VP of development Aaron Simpson comes to Disney from Mondo Media, where he served as head of development. He also previously produced animation for Warner Bros., Kids’ WB!, Jib Jab and Sony.

Coleman was previously SVP of original series and led development on Disney’s hit Mickey Mouse shorts, as well as Gravity Falls and Star vs. The Forces of Evil. In his new role, he will oversee the studio’s diversified slate of programming and will continue to focus on leading development, casting and music for Disney Channel and Disney XD. He will also continue to report to Gary Marsh, president and CCO of Disney Channels Worldwide.

Schneider’s new role will see him lead the studio’s strategic business direction, while Prigmore will be tasked with providing creative input across development, current series and production. Both will report to Coleman.

Lemon’s responsibilities will include managing both in-house and outside productions from development to post across the Disney Junior slate. She will report directly to SVP of production Lisa Salamone Smith. At DreamWorks she worked on feature film titles such as Kung Fu Panda 3, How to Train Your Dragon 3 and The Penguins of Madagascar.

Rounding out the appointments, Simpson will report to Coleman and oversee all long- and short-form development, working closely with current series from pilot to production.
