Disney XD has acquired animated fantasy series Fangbone! and semi-scripted gamer magazine series Gaming Show (In My Parents’ Garage) from DHX Media for broadcast in the US, Latin America, South East Asia and Taiwan.

From Canada’s Radical Sheep Productions, Fangbone! was commissioned by DHX TV in March and is expected to debut in early 2016 on its new Family CHRGD network. It will now also head to Disney XD in the US, Latin America, South East Asia and Taiwan. The series is based on books by New York Times bestselling author Michael Rex.

Meanwhile, Gaming Show (In My Parents’ Garage) will make its Disney XD debut in the US on September 9 at 9:30 p.m., ET/PT.

Produced by Toronto-based Banger Films’ kids division, B-Minors, the series has been a hit for Family CHRGD since launching last year. An order of 25 new half-hour episodes are currently in production for DHX TV’s Family Channel and Family CHRGD, where the new season was just added to the fall sked.
