In the lead-up to next week’s Asia Television Forum (ATF) in Singapore, French prodco Cyber Group Studios has announced a raft of sales in Asia for its animated series, including Zorro the Chronicles (pictured) and Zou.

In Indonesia and Sri Lanka, broadcaster Spectrum has picked up 26 x 22-minute reboot Zorro the Chronicles for TV and DVD. Co-produced by John Gertz’s Zorro Production and Blue Spirit Studios for France Télévisions and RAI, the series features the adventures of a teenage Don Diego, his twin sister Ines and best friend Bernardo.

The deals follow Zorro pre-sales to Télé Quebec (Canada), VRT and RTBF (Belgium), RTVE (Spain), NPO (Netherland), RTS (Switzerland), Globosat (Brazil) and YLE (Finland).

Additionally, Discovery Networks has re-upped its license for CGI series Tales of Tatonka (52 x 13 minutes) for the Asia-Pacific region.

Meanwhile, Cyber Group has inked a package deal with Korea’s Key Intermedia for a pair of its Scrawl co-pros, Zou season two (156 x 11 minutes) and Mademoiselle Zazie (78 x seven minutes), as well as upper preschool series Adams Bakery (52 x 13 minutes) from Changzhou Dinosaur Park, and Grenadine Peppermint (78 x seven minutes).

Iconix has also taken Mademoiselle Zazie for its Skylife channel, and JCG has acquired Adams Bakery for its Korean Kids Talk Talk channel.

Rounding out the sales activity, Taiwan’s Good TV has snapped up 10 x 26-minute animated series The Long Long Holiday, while Momo Kids has purchased the second season of Zou also for Taiwan.
