Idaho-based eco-crusading brand Green Kids Club (GKC) has inked an exclusive global publishing deal with Korea’s Aurora World, which will see the latter’s popular YooHoo & Friends endangered animal plush characters star in a special edition set of GKC picture books.

Set to launch at retail by the end of Q1 2016, the new book series will see GKC’s environmentally conscious kids Victor, Maya and Tiago partner with furry friends Pammee and YooHoo on quests to protect the Earth’s animals and their habitats from external threats.

Green Kids Club was founded by Sylvia Medina to teach children about the importance of environmental stewardship. The brand’s books, toys and products are currently sold online and at US retail outlets including museum shops, nature center and park gift stores, book stores and toy stores.

Since launching in 2007, Aurora World’s YooHoo & Friends toy line has successfully expanded into licensing, an animated TV series and games.
