Dutch kids entertainment platform RTL Telekids has tapped Belgian indie prodco Studio 100 to fill more airtime and provide a large chunk of programming for its VOD platform, Videoland.

Effective February 1, RTL Telekids will broadcast several of Studio 100’s children’s programs daily between 6:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., as well as on its 24-hour digital channel RTL Telekids 24/7 and via its free Telekids app.

RTL Telekids recently landed a larger programming block on Dutch channel RTL 8 and turned to Studio 100’s library to help fill it. The prodco’s series align with the platform’s core values of providing Dutch-language, non-violent content aimed at kids three to nine. Popular Studio 100 series scooped up by the broadcaster include Bumba, Plop & de Peppers, Zigby, Dive Olly Dive and ROX, as well as the new live-action series K3 (pictured) featuring the Belgian-Dutch girl pop group of the same name.

RTL’s VOD platform Videoland, meanwhile, will have access to a large number  of Studio 100’s kids titles starting in April.
