UK-based Koko Rose Media has tapped Bejuba! Entertainment as its global distribution partner for new animated preschool series Deer Little Forest.
Through the deal, Bejuba! will oversee all TV sales and co-production opportunities worldwide, excluding the UK.
Bejuba! founder and president Tatiana Kober and VP of international distribution Sandrine Pechels de Saint Sardos will be presenting Deer Little Forest for the first time at both Kidscreen Summit and MIPTV.
Deer Little Forest is produced by UK studio King Rollo Films (Poppy Cat, Mama Mirabelle, Maisy). Meanwhile, Chris Parker (Peppa Pig, Bob the Builder, Ben & Holly) and Sam Dransfield (Poppy Cat, Octonauts, Numtums) are on-board as scriptwriters.
Based on a concept by illustrator Jo Rose, the 52 x 11-minute series tells the story of the wild-at-heart Forest Flo and her eclectic mix of animal friends as they navigate the challenges of life in the Deer Little Forest.
In addition to the TV series, the property also has a picture book entitled Party in the Deer Little Forest, licensing agents in 15 territories, a preschool app, monthly activity pages in UK preschool magazines, and greeting cards.
Koko Rose Media, the joint-venture between Lisa Hryniewicz and Jo Rose, manages all rights for the IP.
