Toronto, Canada-based Radical Sheep Productions has entered into a development deal with Corus Entertainment’s Teletoon for the animated comedy Sprinkle and the Sweet Sugar Magics from comedian, writer and creator Stephanie Kaliner.

The 11-minute comedy for kids ages six to nine follows a character named Cara who is so shy that she can’t seem to get her husky little voice out in public. That is, until one day Cara picks the last jelly donut, and it comes to life as she attempts to eat it.

The development deal marks further collaboration between Teletoon and Radical Sheep, which put the animated comedy The Bagel and Becky Show into production last April as part of the net’s 2016/2017 lineup.

Radical Sheep will be at Kidscreen Summit, which runs from February 8 to 11 in Miami.
