Singapore-based One Animation’s long-form version of the family series Oddbods has sold to a number of broadcasters across Europe, Latin America and Asia.

The new 60 x seven-minute episodes will air on Boomerang across EMEA and Latin America, Disney channels in Asia, Canal Plus children’s channels Canal+Family and Teletoon+  in France and Africa, ITV in the UK, and Boing in Italy.

The sketch-based series, which first sold to broadcasters in France and the US last February, follows the adventures of seven characters who each have a distinct personality.

Through its original one- and five-minute formats, which are currently broadcast worldwide across a variety of channels and regions, the Oddbods brand has gained a global presence both on TV and on YouTube, where the brand has clocked more than 45 million views on its dedicated channel.

The rollout of the long-form version follows plans introduced this past fall at Brand Licensing Europe for a range of merchandise, such as apparel and gifting.
