Nelvana to rep Super Wings in France

The Corus-owned company now reps the preschool IP across all categories in North America and France, except for toys.

Corus Entertainment’s Nelvana has been named the  licensing agent for preschool series Super Wings in France. Co-produced by South Korea’s FunnyFlux Entertainment and CJ E&M together with US-based Little Airplane Productions, China’s Qianqi Animation and Korean pubcaster EBS, Super Wings currently airs in France on Piwi+.

Nelvana holds CP rights to the high-flying series in North America, representing it in all categories except toys, which will be handled by Imports Dragon in Canada and Auldey Toys in the US. Auldey also distributes Super Wings toys in France.

Super Wings follows the adventures of confident jet plane Jett, who travels around the world delivering packages to children with his group of heroic airplane pals.

The 52 x 11-minute series has sold into more than 40 countries─including the US, where toys are set to launch this October─since in premiered in 2014 on EBS.
