Disney-owned Marvel and Maker Studios have unveiled their first co-production, Marvel’s Off the Rack, which is slated to air on Verizon’s Go90 streaming platform.
The comedic variety show will debut on the mobile-only service April 13, with each of its 12 episodes rolling out once a week until the end of June.
The series is hosted by YouTube creator Danika Massey (pictured). Better known online as Comic Book Girl 19 (441,000 subscribers and 28 million views), Massey will discuss—and defend—Marvel heroes with guests, including voice actor Billy West (Ren & Stimpy, Futurama and Buggs Bunny), along with various creators from Maker Studios’ multi-channel network.
Each episode will focus on a different Marvel character.
The series was first announced in October when Maker struck a content deal with Go90. Some of the series to debut on the platform to date include Prank School with Rahat, Defining Beauty and Geekenders. Upcoming series include an untitled project starring America’s Best Dance Crew winners The Jabbawockeez, and an untitled docuseries exploring the world of fantasy gameplay.
