Turner’s all-animation kidsnet Boomerang will be available this month on Turkish satellite television provider D-Smart and IPTV service Tivibu. A broad selection of new episodes from classic series will be on offer, including The Tom & Jerry Show, Scooby-Doo, Looney Tunes, Inspector Gadget, Mr. Bean and Garfield.

With the launch, the newly rebranded 24-hour digital cable and satellite network, aimed at boys and girls ages four to seven and their families, now reaches 60 countries in EMEA and is accessible in more than 55 million homes in 15 languages.

The upcoming launch follows the promotion of veteran Turner exec Tarek Mounir to VP and GM for Turner across the Middle East, North Africa, Turkey, Greece and Cyprus.
