Former Bejuba exec will lead new TFO distribution op

Bejuba's former sales head Sandrine Pechels de Saint Sardos is joining Canadian French-language pubcaster TFO to lead its new distribution division.

Canada’s Groupe Média TFO has tapped former Bejuba! EVP of sales and acquisitions Sandrine Pechels de Saint Sardos to helm its new multiplatform distribution division.

In her new position beginning June 8, Pechels de Saint Sardos will look to secure TFO acquisitions and pre-buys across traditional, non-linear and international platforms to grow the company’s French-language catalog of educational kids content.

Over the last five years, TFO’s production pipeline has grown by 220%, with a much larger presence on YouTube. Its channels there are currently the top source of French-language educational content in Canada and have attracted close to 250 million views.

Pechels de Saint Sardos moves to TFO after a nine-year stint at Bejuba! Entertainment, where she was instrumental in growing a library of more 600 half hours of kids TV content.

She previously worked at Classic Media (now Dreamworks Animation), driving global sales and co-productions for Casper and other Classic Media IPs.
