Parisian CGI animation studio TeamTO (PJ Masks, Angelo Rules) has opened an office in Beijing, China and hired film industry exec Shu Ye to headĀ up the new venture as general manager.

The new office will give TeamTO co-development and co-production opportunities on original and existing animated properties with Chinese companies.

Ye brings 12 years of film industry experience, and a specialty in French-Chinese feature film co-production, to her new role. She’s also worked as a sound editor and designer for top Chinese directors including Tsui Hark, Zhang Yimou, Teng Huatao and Zhang Yibai.
