Global licensing trade association LIMA has named Peter Hollo as managing director of its German operation.

In addition to managing day-to-day operations in Germany and its surrounding territories, Hollo will continue to oversee LIMA’s Day of License in Cologne, as well as its Licensing Market in Munich.

Previously a chief procurement officer for German Spiele Max, and the division manager of toys and seasonal for German retailer Müller Ltd. & Co., Hollo comes to LIMA from Peter Hollo—International Consultants, where he counsels clients in the toy and licensing industries on strategy and recruitment marketing.

As LIMA’s most recent appointee, he will be introducing new educational and networking opportunities in the German market in an effort to grow LIMA Germany’s membership base.

Andrew Menceles was named director of LIMA Canada in April, while Rutika Malaviya was appointed LIMA’s official representative for India in January.
