Animal Jam collectibles hit US retail

Jazwares' new toy line based on the online brand from Wildworks includes collectibles and customizable animal pet characters.

A range of Jazwares toys based on Utah-based WildWorks’ Animal Jam kids social network is now available at all major US retailers.

The line features customizable animals and pets such as pandas, foxes, reindeer and rabbits, plus destinations from the game, which was developed in association with National Geographic.

Anchoring the product range is the first Adopt a Pet products. Each US$3.49 set of 96 SKUs includes a den, a collectible pet and two accessories.

The line also features Friends with Pets sets that each include a three-inch animal figure and a one-inch pet figure, along with three interchangeable accessories.

Additional products include a collectible three-inch animal figure with two interchangeable accessories and a light-up ring, seven-inch plush characters, and collectible themed dens. A Club Geoz playset and a 12-inch plush range will both launch later this year, too.

Jazwares joins current Animal Jam licensee Custom Personalized Solutions, which distributes print-on-demand productsfrom apparel and accessories, to home school supplies and home décorvia Animal Jam’s website.

Since launching in 2010, the free-to-play Animal Jam virtual world has attracted more than 50 million registered global users, making it the top web-based game and social network for kids in the US.
