In celebrating Nickelodeon animation’s 25th anniversary, the kidsnet has partnered with New York retail shop Story on Remember When, a new installation showcasing a consumer products line based on hit Nick shows from the ’90s including Rugrats and Hey Arnold!
Running August 5 to September 18, the yearbook-themed shop concept in Manhattan features five clubs—homeroom, besties, double dare, city kids and yearbookers—that mash-up Nick shows with other elements of ’90s pop culture and include more than 25 brands that have incorporated fan-favorite Nick characters.
Among the featured brands are Keds, Gap, Rockets of Awesome, Leeloo Soaps, Samsung, Dormify, Print All Over Me, Samsung, Smashbox, Wattzup and Stance Socks.
In addition, select Ren & Stimpy items from Jeremy Scott’s fall 2016 collection will be available for purchase.
Story is also extending its store experience to other bricks-and-mortar and online retail partnerships for the first time with L.A.-based retailer Ron Robinson and NeimanMarcus.com coming on board for the Remember When launch.
From August 18 to September 18, Ron Robinson will host the themed shop-in-shop atĀ its Santa Monica store featuring a curated selection of the limited-edition product. NeimanMarcus.com will then launch an online extension of Remember When for a limited time from August 24 through September 18.
Founded by Rachel Shechtman, Story has presented more than 30 unique merchandise installations to date.
