Amazon is ready to get messy with its new original The Stinky & Dirty Show. The animated preschool series will premiere on Amazon Prime Video in the US and the UK September 2, and will be made available in Germany, Austria and Japan later this year.

Along with streaming, the series’ first nine episodes will also be available for download to mobile devices for offline viewing through Amazon.

Based on the I Stink! book series by Kate and Jim McMullan, the show follows the adventures of best friends Stinky the garbage truck and Dirty the backhoe loader. Guy Toubes (Littlest Pet Shop, Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi) wrote and developed the show, with Brown Bag Films (Doc McStuffins, Peter Rabbit) animating.

The Stinky & Dirty Show was part of Amazon’s 2015 kids pilot season and joins a host of kids content on Prime Video, including a whack of PBS KIDS content now available through an exclusive US streaming deal signed last month that includes series like  Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood and Odd Squad.
