NBCUniversal preschool net Sprout is set to premiere Sesame Workshop and CBeebies co-pro The Furchester Hotel on September 26 as part of its Back to New initiative.

The show’s premiere week will also feature appearances by Elmo and Cookie Monster on Sprout’s Sunny Side Up morning show.

The Furchester Hotel is set in a (nearly) world-class hotel run by a close-knit family of cheerfully chaotic monsters.

Sprout’s September-long Back to New initiative features a new episode premiere every day for series like Maya the Bee, Jungle Bunch and Floogals. Following the campaign, The Furchester Hotel will move to its weekend 7 am time slot starting the week of October 10.

Earlier this year, seasons three and four of the 52 x 11-minute series, which premiered in fall 2014, headed into the production studio at Manchester’s MediaCityUK. Global networks already on-board The Furchester Hotel include ABC Kids (Australia), NDR/KiKA (Germany) and Zappelin (Netherlands).
