New York-based Sizzle Press is releasing a series of original physical storybooks starring characters from Sago Mini’s 18 preschool apps.

Bonnier Publishing USA’s licensed property and pop culture-focused imprint will debut the board books in September.

Among the first titles is Jinja’s Surprise!, which asks readers to help keep the titular character’s surprise party a secret by hiding snacks, decorations and gifts with their fingers. Cozy Christmas: A Touch-and-Feel Book lets readers interact with different textures, including Robin’s wool scarf and Yeti’s sled.

December will bring the release of Wake and Sleep: A-Lift-the-Flap Book and More Hugs!

Toronto-based Sago Mini—which along with its parent company Toca Boca was recently purchased by Canadian toyco Spin Master—is also expanding with a new line of toys after launching a consumer products division.
