Nickelodeon has rebranded US television channel MTV Hits into NickMusic, a kid-targeting 24-hour music video destination that will launch on September 9.

The channel will feature a music video lineup of kids’ favorite Top 40 artists from all genres, artist-hosted programming blocks and branded segments like “Videos We Heart,” “Pop Playback” and “Bumpin’ Beats.” There will also be long-form concert specials and music-inspired series, including TeenNick Top 10.

NickMusic will serve to complement Nick’s other music offerings such as NickRadio, which features current hits, guest DJ appearances by channel stars, branded entertainment and celebrity interviews on leading digital radio platform iHeartRadio.

The first promo for NickMusic can be found here.
