This year’s winners of the annual UK Licensing Awards were revealed at a gala ceremony held at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel last night. The award ceremony—which attracted more than 1,500 retailers, licensors, licensees and industry executives—covered all aspects of the UK licensing industry and recognized achievement in retail, products, properties and marketing communication.
Canadian toyco Spin Master’s PAW Patrol was a big winner this year, taking home Best Licensed Toys or Games Range, as well as Best Preschool Licensed Property. Disney’s Star Wars was also a double winner, receiving The Innovation Award for Star Wars-branded Bluetooth speakers from ACWorldwide and the Best Licensed Preschool Apparel award for Star Wars Babywear by Paul Dennicci.
