FMK debuts new products and events for Rainbow

FremantleMedia Kids & Family is working to expand its consumer products program around the brand in anticipation of the holiday season.
September 28, 2016

A new range of products and live events inspired by Rainbow— the brand from the UK-based FremantleMedia Kids & Family — are set to be released just in time for the holiday season. Rainbow first screened on ITV in 1972.

Characters from Rainbow — including George, Bungle and Zippy — will be featured as part of Casa Chicos new babywear line. The line will launch in Mothercare in spring/summer 2017. Blues will also produce a line of Rainbow-themed clothing across its baby, kids and adult ranges.

George and Zippy can also be seen up close and person in two live shows this Christmas. The pantomime-based shows will be held in Yorkshire, following the success of the event at Bunn Leisure holiday parks this summer.

These new licensees join FMK’s current consumer products program, which includes licensees like Danilo (greeting cards), Misirli (socks) and Smiffy’s (dress up). FremantleMedia Kids & Family is actively seeking new licensees for Rainbow.
