California-based Foothill Entertainment and New York’s Sockeye Media are partnering to co-develop and co-executive produce a CGI-animated version of the Mother Goose Club series for the global marketplace.

Sockeye’s Mother Goose Club preschool property is a YouTube mainstay, with its channel garnering more than six billion views to date.

The new 52 x 11-minute series will reimagine Mother Goose Club’s six main characters in CGI-animation with a story-driven narrative. The series is in development for a 2017/2018 delivery.

The growing Mother Goose Club brand includes hundreds of live-action and animated videos currently available on YouTube, as well as original songs, an app and coloring books. And in an effort to further expand the property, Sockeye has appointed Foothill Entertainment as the distributor for the Mother Goose Club.

As part of the agreement, Foothill Entertainment will present the Mother Goose Club series for the first time at next month’s MIP Junior and MIPCOM.
