Spanish distribution company Imira Entertainment has acquired more than 300 half hours of new content, including DinoCore, Larva in New York, Hogie The Globetrotter and Vroomiz.
Imira has secured distribution rights to 39 x 15-minute DinoCore in Europe and Latin America. The series, which targets boys ages six to 10, is the latest production from Korea’s Tuba studio and currently airs in Asia on SBS and Tooniverse as well as on pay-TV channels Jei and Animax.
The third season of Larva in New York—also created by Tuba—will also be distributed in Europe and Latin America. Imira handles the European and Latin American distribution for all three seasons of the 104 x two-minutes show.
Additionally, Imira has secured global distribution for preschool series Hogie The Globetrotter (pictured). The 52 x 11-minute series from Malaysia’s Lil Critter Workshop will have its industry debut at MIP Junior.
Korean producer SAMG’s preschool series Vroomiz will be distributed in Europe, Latin America, the US and US Hispanics. The 52 x 13-minute series has sold to global broadcasters including Al Jazeera (the Middle East), CCTC and Kaku (China), Yarmouk (Turkey), Carousel (Russia), Asia FTP Play, VTV (Asia), RTM (Malaysia) and EBS, BTV, Jei TV and Animax (Korea).
Imira also represents SAMG’s MiniForce. The 52 x 13-minute action/comedy series targets kids ages four to nine and has sold to CTC (Russia), MCOT (Thailand), EBS, IPTV VOD, Olleh TV, BTV and U+TV (Korea), FPT Play (Vietnam) and Chinese VOD platforms QQ Channel/Tencent, IQYI, LTETV, YoukuTudou and Kankan.
