Nick CP signs JoJo Siwa for new licensing program

Nick's retail program featuring the teen entertainer (who got her start on Dance Moms) will span apparel, toys and publishing.

Nickelodeon has reached an exclusive licensing partnership with JoJo Siwa to develop a line of consumer products inspired by the 13-year-old singer, dancer and actress.

At age eight, Siwa first rose to fame as the youngest contestant ever on Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition, before going on to appear on US net Lifetime’s reality series Dance Moms.

Nick is seeking major merchandising and promotional partners for the program, which will span a number of categories including apparel, home furnishings, toys and publishing.

In addition to the the licensing agreement, Siwa will be expanding her involvement with Nickelodeon through a number of TV appearances. She will be featured in an episode of TeenNick Top 10 on October 28, as well as encores of Nickelodeon’s Ultimate Halloween Haunted House special on October 29 and 30. She will also perform her song “Boomerang” on TV for the first time at the 2016 Nickelodeon HALO Awards on November 27.

She now has nearly four million follows on Instagram, five million followers on Musical.ly and 210 million views on her YouTube channel.
