Canada’s Corus Entertainment has picked up all five seasons of factual series Operation Ouch. The show from London-based distributor Serious Lunch, will air on kidsnet YTV later this fall.

Starring identical twins Dr. Chris and Dr. X, the series focuses on their experiments and exploration of the world of medicine as they teach viewers about the human body and how it works.

Operation Ouch won a BAFTA for best factual entertainment in 2013 and 2014 and has been nominated for four in 2016, including best presenter and best factual entertainment show.

Originally produced by Maverick Productions (Embarrassing Bodies, 10 Years Younger) for CBBC, Serious Lunch is also selling the series as a format and local versions have been produced for Northern Europe so far.

Earlier this summer CBBC re-commissioned Operation Ouch, along with a number of other factual programs including Ice Stars, How to Be Epic and Life Babble.
