In an effort to convert more of its early-learning assets to digital, US children’s multimedia company School Zone is rolling out Anywhere Teacher, a new brand comprised of a subscription-based online destination, a preschool tablet and a raft of supplemental curriculum products for kids and parents.

Aimed at kids ages two to eight, AnywhereTeacher.com is a digital educational playground loaded with original content that’s developed exclusively by School Zone’s team of educators, editors, designers and programmers.

The kid-safe platform features more than 200 videos, including School Zone’s hit live-action/animated preschool series Charlie & Company. There are also more than 60 Start to Read! digital books, a suite of digital flash cards and a collection of games to help kids with spelling, math, vocabulary and fine-motor skills.

In addition, the site provides interactive worksheets for children to practice telling time, counting coins and listening, plus printable activities and original songs from popular singer-songwriter Brian Vander Ark (The Verve Pipe).

Rounding out the materials, School Zone has launched Little Scholar Mini, a new seven-inch version of its popular parent tablet for children in preschool, kindergarten and first grade.

The tablet comes pre-loaded with more than 70 apps, eBooks, songs and videos (including Charlie & Company).

Parents can subscribe to AnywhereTeacher.com starting at US$6.99 per month via iTunes, Google Play or PayPal.

AnywhereTeacher.com also gives parents the ability to monitor their child’s activity and progress to best manage learning goals.

The brand launch comes as Michigan-based School Zone continues to extend its resources beyond the classroom. It recently secured a deal to send Charlie & Company to Canadian video-streaming service Ameba TV.
