Toronto-based prodco Sinking Ship Entertainment has made sales to ABC Australia and  TV3 in New Zealand.

ABC Australia has snapped up all four seasons of Annedroids (pictured), the second season of Odd Squad and Scout and the Gumboot Kids. New Zealand’s TV3, meanwhile, has picked up the first two seasons of Annedroids.

Girl-led STEM series Annedroids was first commissioned by TVOKids in Canada and later Amazon Prime for the US and UK markets. A co-venture with The Fred Rogers Company, TVOKids and PBS KIDS, math-based Odd Squad has been greenlit for a second season by PBS KIDS. Acquired for distribution from Canada’s Two Story Productions, preschool-targeted Scout and the Gumboot Kids focuses on mindfulness and was made in association with Canadian pubcaster CBC.

Earlier this year, Sinking Ship acquired Toronto’s Picture Box Distribution to bring its distribution operations in-house.
