Paris-based producer/distributor GO-N Productions is premiering its new series, Simon, on France Télévisions on December 17.

The 52 x five-minute toon will air daily as part of the broadcaster’s Zouzous preschool block.

Simon is produced by GO-N Productions in collaboration with France Télévisions. The series—which follows Simon the rabbit as he learns about the world and language—is based on a book collection by author Stephanie Blake.

GO-N Productions has also tapped France Télévisions Distribution to oversee the licensing program for the property in France, French-speaking Belgium and Switzerland. The consumer products program will focus on toys and back to school categories.

Earlier this year, GO-N licensed another animated series, Zip Zip, to broadcasters in Spain and Central Europe. The 52 x 13-minute show now airs in more than 100 countries.
