Sesame Workshop—the nonprofit educational organization behind Sesame Street—has named Headstart International as its regional toy licensee for Australia and New Zealand.
The privately owned toyco will create a range of Sesame Street-branded plush to be sold at major retailers in both countries.
The deal was brokered by Sesame’s agent in the territories, Haven.
In October, Sesame Workshop named a number of new global licensing reps, including IMG (China), Televisa Consumer Products (Mexico) and Kasmanas Licensing (Brazil).
