After greenlighting a second season of its original kids series Just Add Magic in June, Amazon Studios has announced that new episodes of the single-camera live-action series will premiere on Prime Video in the US and UK on January 13.
Based on Cindy Callaghan’s book of the same name, Just Add Magic‘s first season has become Amazon’s most-streamed original series for kids ages six to 11 to date.
The show is executive produced by Andrew Orenstein (Malcolm in the Middle) and Joe Nussbaum (Awkward), and stars Olivia Sanabia, Abby Donnelly, Aubrey Miller and Judah Bellamy.
Season two will continue to follow Kelly (Sanabia) and her best friends (Donnelly and Miller) as they explore the mystery surrounding their magical cookbook. It will be available for Prime members to stream using the Amazon Prime Video app, and will also be available as part of Amazon FreeTime Unlimited.
