London-based Dot to Dot Productions’ new 2D-animated preschool series School of Roars has been acquired by CBeebies (UK) and Sprout (US).
ZDF Enterprises is handling worldwide distribution for School of Roars, which is set to air early this year.
Created by Alan Robinson and executive produced by Jo Killingley and Sarah Legg for CBeebies, the 52 x seven-minute series follows five mini-monsters as they go to school. The show will have interactive elements including game apps, story apps and a website.
School of Roars is not the first time CBeebies and Dot to Dot have teamed up—the two also worked together on live-action/animated preschool sports series Footy Pups.
