Sambro International will develop a new range of Sesame Street-branded arts and crafts, bags, hand puppets and plush toys for the UK, Benelux, Iberia, the Nordic countries and CEE.
Sambro is one of the UK’s largest licensed toy manufacturers. In addition to crafts and plush, the company’s portfolio includes games, stationery, wheeled goods and fashion apparel.
The agreement was brokered by DHX Media-owned CPLG, Sesame Workshop’s licensing representative in the territories.
Sesame Street returned to the UK on Turner preschool network Cartoonito in November. The new season is airing in half-hour topic-based episodes focused on preschool themes like bedtime.
